SOCIAL RESPONSABILITY


At Grupo Shogua, we believe Corporate Social Responsibility is the base for becoming a sustainable company. It's why we comply with the ISO 26000 guidelines under three lines of action, guiding our programs towards Sustainable Development Goals.

Ethic and Corporate Governance


We promote a solid organizational culture through our program named DNA Shogua, where our collaborators can learn about the company's principles.

The organization carries out daily operations through a ethic code, protection of information, and we have an anonymous email for all the employees, that help us detect bad practices or situations that put in risk our collaborators or the company. We always work looking a transparent performance.

Corporate Wellbeing


Employees are the most important to achieving development and goal fulfillment of the company. This is why, through Shogua With You program, we offer our collaborators a better laboral environment and balance between life and work, providing a benefits package that involves emotional salary and wellness in all the lines.




Social and Environmental Impact


Our social action strategy focuses on community development and environment. For this, we work under four programs.



1. For Mexico´s Future: We have alliance with two non-profit organizations that support education and social reintegration of children and youths to collaborate in their formation so that they become productive members of society, break the poverty cycle, and to achieve a better Mexico for all.



2. Talent Hotbed: We are creating a social investment model to support young people with exceptional talent and outstanding capabilities, providing economic support, building alliances with non-profit organizations, educational institutions, private sector companies, and Government.

Our objective is to discover and support young people who show great intellectual, creative and artistic, with projects that will have a positive impact on the community, create more jobs, and economic growth.



3. 360 Climate: We promote environmental care, and adopt sustainable practices such as correct waste disposal in our business units. We use recycled materials for food and drink containers, and we have a program named “Tapitas de Esperanza” (Caps for Hope), with this initiative collecting plastic container caps we also support another non-profit that provides cancer treatments for underprivileged children.

By our internal communication campaigns, we among our collaborators the importance of caring the planet, our intention is to be part of the reducement in carbon footprint.



4. Together We Achieve More: We know that by joining forces we can create inclusive and sustainable environments, as well as reach more people who need it. For this reason, we collaborate with different institutions as the case may be, making in kind donations, volunteering, and alliances to offer formal employment to unprivileged young people.
